Five minutes in, I was nodding to a 72-month financing plan like I was being hypnotized by a certified car Jedi. Need a test drive? He doesn’t just toss you the keys—he throws in a playlist, adjusts your seat, sets the mirrors, and somehow knows your favorite snack. I didn’t even *want* a car that day. I came in for directions to the DMV and ended up emotionally attached to a brand-new Tahoe named “Deborah.” And the man’s negotiation skills? My truck has been in the shop around a dozen times over the last TEN months for the same problem. Only once was I allowed a 'loaner' vehicle, the rest of the time my wife was made to suffer as I had to use her vehicle. Was in TWICE last week for the same issue. Picked it up Friday and four hours later - CHECK ENGINE LIGHT again! Service advisor NEVER calls back - I left a message an hour ago this morning. I hate reporting this but, all around - a miserable experience.

It was fine except on arrival there was no one at the service desk! I waited more than 5 minutes for anyone to show up. You seem to not have enough staff and the no where to park

Walked in and was greeted after a conversation amongst employees was finished. Then was shown to the waiting area. After sitting 10 min or so which wasn’t an issue since I was early another gentleman asked “who’s Traverse” to which I responded mine. He asked if I had an appointment and I said yes I made it o line and he said well I don’t have it but we will still take care of it. That’s not my problem and I even mentioned that I had text reminders and he said ok and walked away. Then thru the paper thin walls I heard him essentially mocking me saying that I had received the text updates. I also heard the same person say a few inappropriate things in that same area. I get shop talk and customers are a pain sometimes but that discussion needs to be away from where anyone can hear it. It just was a very disheartening experience to be honest. I felt like I was a burden by having the appt.

I was well satisfied with the service and the time it took.

I normally never have an issue with Gerry Raymond of Fairmont. They always are very nice and respectful and take excellent care of my vehicle when I have it serviced. Though the last time I brought my car for an oil change and tire rotation, I also advised them of my tire leaking air to the point I had to air it up about twice a week. They informed me after my car was done that they could not find a leak and that it was just the cold air. This happened this past Friday on 01/30. Since then, I have had to air up that same tire three times, and it has only been three days since they looked at it. I do not believe it was just the cold weather making the tire lose air, and now I will have to take my car somewhere else to have the tire checked. That is the reason for the three stars because they did a great job with the oil change and tire rotation, but they did not address my tire leaking issue.

I was supposed to have work done at Joe Holland where I bought my vehicle and they didn’t tell me their diesel mechanic was out all week til the evening before my trip. So I couldn’t get my oil changed and I was going on a trip and I was going through Fairmont to see my dad. So I called you guys that morning And you had me scheduled at 2 o’clock that day. Brought me in. Did my oil change within about 30 minutes in service the vehicle. I greatly appreciate you getting me in that quick and getting it done. You guys did an A rate job.

Honestly it was not a great visit. I called the service manager already to voice my concerns. I am not a person who calls back to a business to complain or sends backs meal orders. I usually just deal with it, I'm not that guy, but for this I had to say something. My grandmother passed recently and I purchased her 2014 Cruze (from the estate) to give to my daughter. After having it detailed by a friend of mine, I took it to Gerry Raymond for an oil & inspection - Service called and said it needed new tires to pass inspection- So we did the tires, plus an alignment, plus inspection for $1,027. About a third of that cost was labor. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle no staff were in the service office. I waited for about 20-25 minuets and finally went to the cashier office to ask for help & another staff was able to help me pay my balance. They explained the service manager was out for a minute and they were short staffed. I had to rush out to after to take one of my kids to their practice & never got speak to anyone before I left. The issue was the inside of the vehicle. The floor and the and the driver door were covered in mud from the staff techs boots/shoes. There was dirt on the seat (into the fabric). There was a small cut/Nic on the steering wheel that wasn't there then I dropped it off. I just had it detailed & I wasn't happy. For a thousand plus dollars I got an oil change, 16-inch all season tires and my interior detailing jacked up. Not a good a value for the wage of labor. I called back to the sales manager & he was professional with me & did offer to have the vehicle detailed - I appreciate that honestly, but I'm just not sure that I want to return to Gerry Raymond for additional business.

It took multiple calls to get an appointment. Then when we finally got an appointment we got it sent in. When we got it back they only partially fixed it. And the car would still smell like exhaust fumes. They said they replaced the catalytic converter but when we went to another place to again fix it. They said nothing was replaced and they had just re welded it. Service was overall terrible compared to every other place we have been

The loud, hard rock head banging music in the waiting room was bad enough, but the service individual who was condescending and rude regarding the status of my maintenance package was worse.

The service department is top notch!

Did a good job, only negative feedback is when I went to leave I found the old inspection sticker stuck to my running board and small pieces on the dashboard. Attention to detail is what makes a good mechanic into a great one.

Had to pay for a service that I should not have had to pay for checking my breaks. Diagnostics report said breaks needed checked ASAP make appointment. I guess they said this wasn't cover under warranty. I think it should have been covered since I was emailed about it.

I will start everyone was very nice but my dashboard got broken 3 places and I was not even told until I got on my passenger side to retrieve something

First class respectfully service from drop off to pickup. However the 3.5 % surcharge on using a debit card is almost and probably will be a dealbreaker when the new location is opened.

I had a great experience at Gerry Raymond Chevrolet in Fairmont, WV, recently during a regular service appointment for my Chevy Silverado Trail Boss. Trey and Jesse kept me informed of what was happening and also made me aware that my tires needed replaced (I knew this would be needed soon). Fortunately, they had 4 tires I wanted in stock and were able to perform an alignment on my truck as well. I appreciate Gerry and his team.
